An Ouija board is a board with letters of the alphabet on it: a group of people sit together around a table or on the floor around the board. They all hold onto an upturned glass or something similar, which moves allegedly all by itself to different letters, so the spirit can spell out words to answer questions.
One person has to ask a simple question first like: What is your name? or, Do I know you?. If there is a spirit it will answer the question in letters as the glass moves to each letter. Nobody must ever admit to helping the glass move.
It works best at Halloween: it sets the mood and gets you a lot more freaked out.
Ouija boards are simply games; they don't actually allow anyone to speak to dead people, and nobody has ever come up with any evidence that dead people want to speak to live ones or that there's any way to arrange it if they do.
Large rewards have been and are still offered to anyone who can conclusively prove there are such things as spirits, or the supernatural, let alone people who want to have conversations with us after they die. Nobody's yet been able to claim any of these rewards; many have tried but have always been proved to be fakes, or have been unable to prove their claims are true.
It's quite dangerous. It's kind of like something to do with spirits communicating with you. Izzy1407 :P. A ouija board is a game in which messages are supposedly
communicated by the dead to or through the players of the game.
[Note: some people consider the ouija to be "more than just a game,"
but it is marketed as a game, and for purposes of convenience it will
be referred to here as a game.] The playing pieces consist of a game
board (like a Monopoly board) and a pointer, called a planchette. The
game board has all the letters of the alphabet written on it. The
numbers 0-9 are also usually included, along with yes/no and
hello/goodbye spaces.
The pointer is made of plastic or glass, and either points to the
letters with one end or has a clear window embedded in it through
which one can view the letters.
To play, two or more people lightly touch the pointer and
concentrate on a question. The pointer will (hopefully) move and
point to letters and numbers which will provide answers to your
questions.
Ouija boards are also known as "witch boards" and "talking boards."
The nickname "ouiji" or "weejie" is also used quite a bit.
Ouji Boards are extremely dangerous as you could be inviting an entity to your home. This will open a door that you cannot close. Entities are evil and are not human...they can be very violent to the point of trying to kill you.
Many people believe it is the combination of the French and German words for yes.
Oui = yes
Ja = yes
They are used to talk to the dead, I have been dying to try it out but I'm to scared.
It's a seance board game with letters & numbers where you can supposedly communicate with spirits.
Ouija boards are most commonly accepted as a game, however some people use them as a tool to divine messages from the spirit world to answer their questions.
its a seance :)
What is an oujia board gathering
The correct spelling is Ouji. Check ebay. You can also get them at Toys 'R' Us. However, I strongly advise you do not buy a ouji board as they are extremely dangerous. When you use a ouji board, you could be inviting an entity to your home. These are evil and are not human. They can be very violent to the point of trying to kill you. I suggest you read up on this.
One can use a ouija board at any time during the day, though some find the board will work better in the evening due to lower psychic vibrational interruptions as many people are asleep.
No, not at all!! The spirits technically answer your question, but they are good spirits from heaven. I have the Ouija Board, and it is not dangerous like everyone thinks it is. Trust me on that. You just really have to be nice to it and it will like you and answer your questions accurately.
NO DUDE DON'T DO IT! Ouji boards call in evils spirits, please save yourself
