Special Project Assistants perform tasks such as seeding new questions, recategorizing Q&As, cleaning up vandalism and spam and other critical daily activities that lend to a better overall user experience for all members of our community. They believe in giving for the greater good and are recognized by Supervisors for their time and effort.

A SPA helps out around the site and there is a lot to do, so the more the merrier! Sometimes it is hard to know where help is needed the most so the SPAs are assigned tasks to complete in areas where Supervisors need a little helping hand.

The tasks are normally quite simple. An SPA might be given a category to sort through, to make sure all the questions are in the correct place, and move them out where needed. They might be given a task to go through the alternates for a question, and split and move them where they are not asking the same as the primary wording. There are also tasks that involve making sure all the questions make sense and have good spelling and grammar or to clean up some answers that have been vandalized! There are loads of ways an SPA can help out!

But most of all, being an SPA should be FUN!

Anyone wishing to be an SPA should contact Stupid Little Genius via her message board or email Projects @ wikianswers.com (remove the spaces).
