The green Thomas Jeffersion 1¢ stamp was issued on Jan. 12, 1968. It is a very common stamp and relatively recent; hence it has no special value due to rarity or age. An unused stamp is always worth at least its face value. Special cancellations might be worth more than face value. Consult a postage stamp catalog, usually available at your local library, for exact identification and catalog values.

There are a number of Jefferson 1 cent stamps. If unused, they can be used for 1 cents toward postage.

Given the number of stamps with Jefferson on them, you need to consult a catalog and see if there is any collectors value to them. Most of them will list it as 15 or 20 cents if you want to buy one. And that is primarily just the cost of stocking it, it has no real value.

This stamp is either Scott number 1278 for a sheet stamp with perfs on all sides or

1299 for a coil with perfs on two sides. Both are valued at the minimum retail value of $0.25 in very fine condition whether mint or used. You should be able to buy one for one cent if you shop around.

This is a common US regular issue stamp.

If you want to buy just one it will probably cost you from 10 to 25 cents at a stamp store , mint or used.

If you want to order it by mail, you would have to pay postage and handling in addition.

Dealers get them as part of larger lots for almost nothing per stamp- say 65% face if mint and 1/10 cent if used.

I think it is a nice stamp and I would certainly keep a nice copy for my collection. If you have more than one, maybe you can trade it for another similar stamp .

Too many variables. You need to fully identify the stamp you are interested in, some things to figure out:

What condition is the card in?

Is the stamp used or look like it just came from the post office?

Consult a stamp catalog online or at your local library.o

Thomas Jefferson is one of the most common subjects on US stamps. It will take some detective work to narrow down the search. Use a US Stamp catalog online or through your local library to identify the specific item. It will also provide an estimated value.

The US has issued dozens of Thomas Jefferson stamps, many with a value of 1 cent. You will have to completely identify the stamp to find a value. A catalog, available in most libraries can help you determine the value. Chances are a dealer won't purchase a single stamp unless it is worth more than a dollar or two.

What is the value of a Thomas Jefferson 1 cent?

This is a very very common US commemorative stamp. Billions were printed. If you want to buy just one it will probably cost you from 10 to 25 cents at a stamp store for a used one. Unused, about twice face. If you want to order it by mail, you would have to pay postage and handling in addition. Dealers get them as part of larger lots for almost nothing per stamp- say 65% face if mint and 1/20 cent if used. It is the kind of stamp I use on letters if unused or give to kids if used.

Where to sell Thomas Jefferson 1c stamp in Honolulu Hi?

Scott #1276 A 1 cent Thomas Jefferson stamp is probably not worth the effort to sell. If it hasn't been used it is worth 1 cent of postage. Otherwise you can buy one for 20 cents. Most dealers aren't going to waste their time buying a single low value stamp, too much work involved to have an profit.

4 cent Abraham Lincoln stamp A 1 cent Thomas Jefferson a 5 cent George Washington a 6 cent Franklin D. Roosevelt all used but in good condition are they worth anything?

In good condition they would have a value of about 15 cents. That means that it is the cost of cataloging and storing the stamp and a dealer would not be interested in buying it. Consult a stamp catalog to more carefully identify and value them.

What is the value of a 1801-1809 stamp Thomas Jefferson?

The dates simply indicate the years Jefferson was President of the US. The first US stamp came out in 1840. There have been dozens of stamps issued with Jefferson on them in many denominations. Consult a catalog to determine which it is. My guess would be that you have Scott Nr. 805 which is worth a few cents.
