What is a better fuel mix ratio for a kawasaki kx 100 2004 i been using 32 to 1 but i was thinking about switching to 40 to 1 because i have herde it prevents smoog and is for better engine life.?

I just bought an 2004 kx 100. Since I am a new rider and I don't hit the power band and ride a 2 stroke like I should I was told to run it lean with more gas to oil mixture 40:1. However I have heard that if you ride like you should on the power band you should stick with the kawi recomendation of 32:1.
