i personally think that if you are a female than a female guinea pig will bond with you better and if you are a male than a male guinea will bond easier i keep both males and females .. guinea pigs are great pets
Both are equally cute and all Guinea Pigs differ from each other. But generally male Guinea Pigs are more alert and active than female Guinea Pigs. But,female Guinea Pigs will be more calm and gentle when you handle them.
Both make equally good pets, although if getting two of the same gender, it is probably best to get two females, as males tend to fight and be quite aggressive.
boy guinea pigs they are more fun
Not unless it is the father, take out the father 2 weeks before birth as the mother can become pregnant 2 hours after birth, this is fatal to the baby's and mother, the father may kill the baby's if left in same cage after birth. thank you hope i helped
The pet store spoiled it.
If your female Guinea Pig is with a male roomate it is very possible she is pregnant. Even if the people at the pet store told you they are both female they are often wrong and often lie to get rid of the things. If she starts getting aggressive towards the other you may want to separate them.

Well, of course it has alot to do with personal opinion, but I prefer guinea pigs over gerbils, especially as pets to smaller children because guinea pigs are personable and friendly and need attention, and they are also large enough to cuddle, whereas gerbils are smaller and harder for kids to hug, and also not as friendly - they don't need attention as much and in my opinion aren't the best pets if you're looking for a pet that can also be your friend. I had guinea pigs for 5 1/2 years and enjoyed every minute of it! Guinea Pigs also live longer than gerbils.
Male ones are better as there more friendlier.. however you can also cheak on google. =]
female because they do most of the workfemale are fiesty ones
1. go to local pet sore 2. go to or ask where the guinea pigs are 3. ***there should be two cages of guinea pis, female and male ***some pet stores only Carrie one type of gender to avoid accidental litters
Gently squeeze the lower tummy and if something "pops out", it is male, if not, it is female. If you do not feel confident doing this, ask someone in a vet or pet shop.
His pet tortoise is a male.
Yes, though make sure your pet doesn't have any illness that could infect other guinea pigs. Even putting a male with a female or vice versa could be a problem, as the female could come into heat and the male will mate with her, which you may not want.
Most Pet Smarts only sell female guinea pigs.
a guinea pig. but if u get 2 males they will fight. if u get a male and a female they may not like each otheer.

If you want to breed your Guinea pigs, you don't want to move male Guinea pig. They quickly increases their population,so most pet owners separate males from females.Their pregnancy last for about two months and have about 3 to 4 babies. Male Guinea pigs must be separated from pregnant Guinea pig because he may cause too much stress for her and she can become pregnant again as soon as she gave birth. You should also separate male Guinea pigs from baby Guinea pigs.
Guinea pig. Bunnies are cute but fragile-ask anyone.
