A color story is a palette of colors used in a line or for visual merchandising in retail stores. Designers use color stories to connect and idenify each piece with a certain season and line. Retail stores often use color stories for organization and visual appeal in their companys store. An example would be if a designers line was safari inspired the color story would be dark green, tan, brown and mustard. Those colors tell a story= safari!!
In 1947, a fashion designer by the name of Elsa Schiaparelli introduced the color hot pink to western fashion. She called the shade Shocking Pink, though today the color is more well-known as "magenta." I Hope This Helped You.
A pattern as it relates to fashion may refer to a couple things. A pattern may refer to what designers create so that the person who makes the item of clothing can cut and sew the fabric. Patterns are usually printed on pieces of thin paper that can be cut out and then pinned onto fabric. The person who is making the piece of clothing then cuts out all the pieces and puts them together. A pattern may also refer to trends in fashion and the similarities between designers' fashion designs. For instance, one year the color fuchsia may be a trend, and all the designers may start using the same color. This can be referred to as a pattern.
The story behind "What Color is this Dress" started in 2015 when a photograph of a dress went viral on the internet. People couldn't agree on the color of the dress, with some seeing it as blue and black, while others saw it as white and gold. The phenomenon sparked a huge debate and became a sensation, captivating people's curiosity about visual perception and color interpretation.
