A vertex is the highest point of something. 'Vertices' is the plural usage of vertex.
Opposite vertices are two vertices of any polygon with an even number of sides that have the same number of sides between them.
a point has one line and two vertices
The definition of vertices is the plural vertex. A vertex is point of intersection of two or more lines. A vertex can also be used to describe the angular point of a polygon, polyhedron, or other shape.
A decahedron is a polyhedron with 10 faces. There are several versions of a decahedron, but none of these are regular. By definition, they all have 10 faces. There is the octagonal prism - with 24 edges and 16 vertices, the square anti-prism, with 16 edges and 8 vertices, the square cupola, with 20 edges and 12 vertices, the pentagonal bi-pyramid, with 15 edges and 7 vertices and the augmented pentagonal prism, with 19 edges and 11 vertices. See, for example, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decahedron
an angle whose vertex is the center of the polygon and whose sides pass through adjacent vertices.
None. A wheel, be definition, is circular and therefore has no vertices!

it is a vertices's form of a function known as Quadratic
A diagonal is a line joining two nonconsecutive vertices of a polygon or polyhedron.
The angles, sides and vertices that are in the same location in congruent figures.
This is a diagonal line. The definition of a diagonal is a line that joins two nonconsecutive vertices or corners of a polygon.
They are always the same.
By definition, a dodecahedron must have twelve faces. So it must be an decagonal prism. Edges = 30 Faces = 12 Vertices = 20

A sphere has no flat face and no vertices. It does have a curved surface; so it depends upon your definition of a face.
