"Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe follows the story of an Englishman who is shipwrecked on a deserted island for 28 years. He learns to survive and builds a life for himself, eventually encountering cannibals and saving a native tribesman whom he names Friday. The novel explores themes of survival, resilience, and the impact of solitude on the human psyche.
