What is a fake credit card number with a security code?

A fake credit card number would be something like they print on credit card ads...

1234 5678 9123 4567 security code 123

(Different kinds of credit cards have different amounts of numbers and longer or shorted security codes. you also need the expiration date when processing a credit card.)

A fake credit card number with security code would not get authorization.

It is simple enough these days for criminals to "clone" credit cards using card readers. The only way to get the corresponding security code would be if they had physical control of the card and could see it. For these reasons you should NEVER let your credit card out of your sight when paying for something.

Most cards are cloned when people innocently withdraw cash from an ATM. ATMs are compromised by having a false cover placed over the card slot which is equipped with a card strip-reader. A pin hole camera is then placed strategically above the ATM keypad to enable the criminals to record the user entering his/her PIN. To prevent this happening you should ALWAYS cover the keypad (I always place my wallet over my hand when entering my PIN).

Simple common sense security precautions like those listed above should help stop criminals getting the necessary data to create a fake credit card using your details.
