A U.S. fifty cent piece dated 1961 is a Franklin half dollar. The coin is not rare, if it shows any wear the value is about $12.00 just for the silver.
Unless it's a privately-minted bullion piece it would be either a standard Peace dollar dated 1921 to 1935, or a .999 fine Walking Liberty "dollar" dated 1986 or later. It can't be both.If it's a genuine Peace dollar it's .900 fine, not .999; its value depends on its date and mint mark but will be at least $14 for the silver it contains. If it's a .999 bullion piece its value will be a bit more than the current spot price of silver as given in your newspaper or at a site such as kitco.com.
It's a Walking Liberty Half Dollar not a Standing Liberty half dollar and the value is about $6.00
There are two types of one dollar gold coins for this year, both are dated 1854. The Type 1 is a Liberty Head and the Type 2 is a Indian Head and each type has different values. Post new question as to the type of coin.
