Something that was believed to have happened, but since was lost in translation, thus the suffix "tale". An old story told by the commoners to friends and families or anybody who would listen, and handed down through the years. Some times the story is embellished or exagerated to make it more astonishing, or unbelievable. Sometimes somebody will even put it to music. Folk songs!
