INGREDIENTS THAT YOU WILL NEED
4 medium tart cooking apples, sliced (4 cups) 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg Single cream or Ice cream, if desired.
METHOD 1 Heat oven to 375ºF. Grease bottom and sides of 8-inch square pan with shortening. 2 Spread apples in pan. In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients except cream until well mixed; sprinkle over apples. 3 Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork. Serve warm with cream.

∙ 11y agoApple Crisp is a extremely easy recipe to follow. 1) Slice the apples in a baking tray. 2) Sprinkle cinnamon and white sugar over the apples. 3) Mix (half a teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of uncooked oatmeal, 1/3 of a cup of butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour) the remaining ingredients with a fork and sprinkle on the apples. 4) Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes. ∙ 9y agoTo make Apple crisp from scratch is easy all you need is 4 cups of sliced apples, 2/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of oats, 3/4 tsp of cinnamon, 3/4 tsp on nutmeg, and 1/3 cup of butter. You arrange the apples in a pan that is 8 by 8 by 2. Combine all the other ingredients and pour over the apples then bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes.
