BEEF STROGANOFF 1 lb. steak (I use leftover steak) 1 onion Oil for cooking 1 clove garlic, pressed 1 can cream of mushroom soup 12 oz. fresh mushrooms 1/2 c. water or white wine 2 c. egg noodles, cooked and drained 1 tbsp. parsley Slice steak into thin strips. Chop onion. Set aside. Slice mushrooms. Set aside. Heat wok or frying pan. Circle with oil. Stir garlic. Add and fry steak, onions, and add in mushrooms, about 3-4 minutes later. Stir in soup and sour cream. Stir in wine or water. Cook for 15-3 minutes. Cook noodles. Serve over noodles. Garnish with parsley.
I'm not really sure but i know that if you cook it in a slow cooker it usually pretty good. You should try the Betty Crocker's stuff.
1 lb good quality beef steak, trim off the fat and cut into strips approx 1 inch long and ½ wide
2 medium green peppers, deseeded and cut into chunks
1 large onion, sliced and chopped (but don't make too small)
8 oz mushrooms, sliced (add more if you like them)
6 oz cream (double or single is OK)
4 oz Butter for frying
Parsley (optional)
Freshly ground salt and black pepper
In 2 oz melted butter Cook onions and peppers, add more butter, then mushrooms, when cooked put to one side
Fry the steak in batches in the rest of the butter
Add all ingredients back into the pan, then add cream
Serve with boiled rice, sprinkled with the chopped parsley

Beef Stroganoff
3 tablespoons grapeseed oil
2 1/2 pounds beef (tenderloin, top round, flank steak, sirloin, etc.)
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups sliced white mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1/4 cup white wine (optional)
1 1/4 cups sour cream
1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 1/2 cups chicken broth*
Serving suggestion: egg noodles
Season the beef with the salt and pepper. In a large pan or pot heat the oil on high. Add seasoned beef, reduce heat to med high, and saute until browned. Remove beef and set aside. Add onions and mushrooms to pan. Saute until onions are slightly translucent and soft. Add wine and 1/2 cup chicken broth, reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half. Stir in soup, *add up to 1 cup of remainig chicken broth, if needed. Add beef and veg. Increase heat to med, bring to low boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Add remaing chicken broth (or water) if sauce gets too thick. Add sour cream. Stir and let warm. Adjust seasoning, if needed. Serve over warm egg noodles.
