What is a harris flush?

It is a procedure, similar to an enema, which allows gas to leave the system. Water is not retained in the colon, but is allowed to drain, bringing with it gas. It is particularly beneficial in patients who have undergone abdominal surgery and are therefore having difficulty with gas and bloating.
