sand
Answer 2
This is not a very good example of a heterogeneous mixture because sand on its own is not really a mixture. It's just sand, whereas a mixture of sand and salt would be a mixture, and a heterogeneous one. However, it would be reasonable to say that each grain of sand itself is a mixture of various types of stone (mainly silica) so, at a pinch, the answer is correct, but a better example could be found.
Any uneven mixture would be heterogeneous. A collection of differently sized marbles.
Heterogeneous mean it's easy to separate it.
Oil and Vinegar - As in salad dressing.
a heterogeneou mixture is like milk
dissolved oxygen in water
what is an example of homogeneous mixture?
What is an example of homogeneous mixture?
A homogeneous mixture is uniform in composition (some examples are dissolved salt in water, air, brewed tea or coffee, or wine) A heterogeneous mixture is a mixture that is not uniform (examples include: sand, oil in water, olive oil) While heterogeneous mixtures have particles that sometimes can be seen under a microscope, the particles of homogeneous mixtures are molecule-sized, causing them to look uniform even under a microscope Basically, homogeneous means the same all the way through. A solution of dissolved salt is homogeneous. Water with food colouring in it is homogeneous. Heterogeneous means different. Muddy water is an example of a heterogeneous mixture. A homogeneous mixture will have the substances in the mixture mixed smoothly, but a heterogeneous mixture will still have some regions of substance distinct in the mixture. Both are mixtures which means they can both be separated.
mixture
An example of a solid mixture is a metal alloy, such as bronze, which is a mixture of copper and tin. An example of a gas mixture is air, which is a mixture of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and several other gases.
No,it is a heterogeneos mixture
You can very well distinguish the different substances that you combined to form the mixture.
Homogeneos is two aleles the same, is can be homogeneous dominant and homogeneos recessive. Heterogeneos is two different aleles.
heterogeneos is something you can take apart for eexample a salad or ceral homogenous is something that cant be chemically taken apart

No. Air is an example of a mixture of gasses. Brass is an example of a mixture of two solid metals.
