Homepage is the first page you are face with when you first enter one site. For example, when you typed the URL "www.veoam.com" in your browser's address box and click the go button, the first page that appears is the homepage of that websites.
But many of the times a homepage refers to the website that opens up first by default when you start your browser. It may be google.com, bing.com or you may prefer to set other website like veoam.com which made to serve as home page.
