It is where the plants grow, the animals eat them, they are eaten by bigger animals. Then when they die they decay into the soil, nourishing it, so that more plants can grow, the animals eat them, etc...

It is like the food chain. Intedependence Meaning A Food Chain If A animal or plant extinct the food chain will go crazy

What is the Tropical Rainforest?

Tropical rain forests are rain forests generally found near the equator. They are common in Asia, Africa, South America, Central America, and on many of the Pacific Islands. Within the World Wildlife Fund's biome classification scheme, tropical rain forests are considered a type of tropical wet forest (or tropical moist broad leaf forest) and may also be referred to as lowland equatorial evergreen rainforest's The tropical rain forests are home to more species than all other biomes combined. The leafy tops of tall trees-extending from 50 to 80 meters above the forest floor-forms an understory. Organic matter that falls to the forest floor quickly decomposes, and the nutrients are recycled. they are commonly found in Asia Africa south America central America and many of the pacific islands.

What is another example of commensalism besides the whale and barnacles?

Crabs and Shrimps often form commensalistic symbiotic relationships with anemones in tropical waters, again for the purposes of protection from predation. For instance the Anemone crab, Neopetrolisthes oshimai, which is a filter feeding Porcelain crab, lives and captures its food from within the tentacles of giant anemones.See related link for more details.

What is a deciduous forest symbiotic relationship?

The most notable of forest symbiotic relationships is of that between trees and mycorrhizae. Mycorrhizae are symbiotic associations that form between the roots of most plant species and fungi. This symbiotic relationship is characterized by the equitable movement of sugars to the fungus and inorganic nutrients fixed by the fungi move into the plant, thereby providing a critical linkage between the plant root and soil. The fungal hyphae take up nutrients from soil solution and transport them to the root. By this mechanism, mycorrhizae increase the effective absorptive surface area of the plant. In nutrient-poor or moisture-deficient soils, nutrients taken up by extramatrical hyphae (hyphea existing within soil matrix) can lead to improved plant growth and reproduction.
