In computers, the keyboard is the most basic input device of the modern computer, essential for user interfacing with the machine.
Consists of a number of "keys" (very similar to buttons in practice) typically with glyph representation for each character of the native alphabet, numbers, basic punctuation, mathematical symbols, brackets and several modifier keys to expand functionality.
