What is a linsang?
Alinsang is the rarest of civets, it is endangered and widely unknown. While the linsang is considered a civet it has no civet gland (Meaning which, it does not produce any stink like its relative the skunk.). Also, a truly dumbfounding mystery accompanies the linsangs of both varieties (spotted linsangs and banded linsangs). The mystery is a simple question: how dolinsangs mate? Linsangs are known only to reproduce biannually having a litter of no more than three pups; however neither the male or female has any external genitilia, this makes for quite the astonishment. Linsags are found only in southern China Malasia, north Africa and Indonesia. And still, aside from there rareity and scientific bounty, they are hunted and killed for proffit. (They have exeptionally soft coats.)
Facts: they have retractile claws two types (spotted and banded) endangered, but not listed because the USA isn't potecting them ect... (listed)
