Anaerobic exercises are extremely intensive and rigorous and one can feel completely drained out both physically and mentally after an exercise session. They are done for a short period of time. Some examples are weight lifting, jumping, sprinting, javelin throw, long jump, high jump, shot put, hammer throw, push ups and pull ups.
If you want to lose weight sprinting, jumprope, and high jump are really good ways.
If you want to gets better muscles then pull ups, and push ups are some more really good ways.
Anaerobic excercises drain you out real quickly so do these until you get to tired then take a quick break.
sprinting
anything which makes you work over 80% of your maximum heart rate (maximum heart rate=220-age)
Lunges and Jump Squats are also some more anaerobic exercises.
His physiotherapist suggested he begin anaerobic exercises. The physiotherapist explained isometric exercises are anaerobic.
Anaerobic means without oxygen. Some activities are considered anaerobic such as weight lifting and some organisms that do not require oxygen.

Yes
Anaerobic is without presence of oxygen. Anaerobic exercise is typically taken to refer to exercises that don't get you breathing hard such as lifting weights, strength training, sprinting, push ups and pull ups. Anaerobics are short quick exercises over a short period of time.(Whereas, 'aerobic' exercise is exercise with oxygen. It's typically taken to refer to brisk walking, jogging, running, cross-country skiing, etc. In other words, exercises that get you breathing hard).
They both promote physical endurance.
Aerobic exercises concentrate on strengthening the muscles involved in respiration and the heart rate increases. These exercises improve the circulation of blood and transportation of oxygen in the body. Anaerobic exercises build strength and muscle mass. While performing these exercises the heart rate will not increase as much.
