There are many different techniques for weather forecasting. Here are a few... 1 use the internet or watch the weather on T.V..... or 2 (my personal favorite), Forecast yourself by observing things. By things I mean clues like these : Red sky at morn sailors be warned. Red sky at night, sailors delight. Meaning, if sunrise is red, the you can probably expect bad weather. Whereas if there is a red sunset, Enjoy the view ! Also, if there is no dew in the morning, then you can probably expect a humid day, or possibly rain. There are many more sayings concerning the forecast by oserving weather characteristics and clues. Try researching them and have fun ! A friend- Bethany

Forecasts of between 4 and 7 days can be given accurately depending on the season and location. In the winter season, the storm systems move faster thus making accuracy fall off after a few days. Summer is easier with accuracy as much as several days attainable. The location factor has to do with the geographic proximity to the storm track; southern locations typically are more distant from storminess.
