Whether you are angry about something that occurred being "mean" is not the way to deal with things. Some people are just not worth the time to let them get to you because if they see that they made you this way then your letting them bring you down and get what they want. Just walk away and don't look back - just say its over and you really don't need to say any more than that.
Anger and revenge are such petty emotions to be wasting your time with. You have to learn to deal with those emotions in a productive manner because unfortunately these emotions will always be part of life somewhere and dealing with them wisely will create a better person in you.
