What is a musical manuscript called?

In: Music

Answer

A Score or composition.

Edit:

A composition is not necessarily a manuscript, although it would be called this if it was the composer's original hand-written copy of the piece. Similarly a manuscript would no t necessarily be a 'score' if it were not an orchestral work. You have actually typed the real answer because 'manuscript' is a perfectly acceptable term in its own right.
