Marching down the road
A personification poem is a type of poem in which human qualities are attributed to non-human objects, animals, or abstract ideas. This literary device helps create vivid imagery and allows the reader to connect with the subject on a deeper level.
A personification poem means that the poem is about an object that is being described as a person. For example, 'The flowers were dancing in the light wind,' clearly everyone knows flowers can't dance, however people or a person can, so it have been described as a person.
A figure of speech given human thoughts to somthing that is not human, for example: A rat named Cheesy says "I like to eat cheese!"
Personification is a figure of speech.
The strategy is used to give object, things or animals human characteristics which we recognize ourselves.

Well, personification is where you give an inhuman object a human quality. So a personification poem is where they put it into a poem. Below are some examples of personification poems I live by the sharp, craggy rocks on the peninsula I can see glistening water, ships, buoys, donkeys and vessels I can taste the salt of the sea I have a spiral wooden staircase I am as old as the tides I remember pirates pillaging and smuggling rum I am afraid of becoming useless I dream of guiding ships home to safety I heard the caw of the seagulls and roar of motors I do not understand when my lights won't shine (power cut) My name is Beam the lighthouse I live at 12 Sweaty Close by the beach I can see the front gate (of 12 Sweaty Close) I can hear Sarah asking where I am I have some leather from a cow's behind I am coming up for my 3rd birthday I remember my time in the field I am afraid of Sarah's foot I dream of Sarah's other foot I heard once, a bell I do not understand why I was left and not right? My name is Abandoned ----
it makes a poem more interesting and makes a better picture to imagine for the reader.
It's when you give inanimate objects human like qualities ex: the cloud Rained in sorrow (that means that it is raining)
