Hebelieved that the Patriots had done nothing to help the British solve the crisis. He believed that the colonist should be more accepting of what the British wanted, since it was the parent country. He believed that the colonist were to quick to call for fighting. He also believed that the colonist should agree to be governed by Parliament and to pay British taxes. He believed that by refusing to obey British laws, the colonist had given up their right to protest. In addition, He believed Great Britain was stronger than the colonies and that it's army and navy would overrun them.
