A "refractor card" is a card that has chrome reflective devices. These cards often come with a thin removable protective layer. The card loses some value if this plastic layer is removed. Refractor cards are commonly used as inserts along with regular issue packs of cards and were first introduced in the 1990's. Topps created the refractor sets, and also releases the Refractor cards under the Bowman name, which Topps owns. In 1956 Topps purchased the Bowman company and ended their rivalry in the sports card market. In 1989, Topps once again began production of cards with the Bowman name.

A Perfect card, that the lucky buyer will probably double his money in the next few years. Current price of this was sold for $1,756.00 Go to Ebay and see my other 10/10's for more S.F.
