What is a river?

A river is a fresh water flowing across any surface of the land in the world, usually starting from high ground like a mountain then leading into the ocean. It flows in a channel that creates rivers, and the bottom of that channel is called the bed, and the sides of the channels are called Banks, like a kind of beach.
