If you are asked in an interview What is your role model? In: Job Interviews |
[Edit] |
You have to mention a person you really like and u r very up to date with his last news for example u could say "my role model is my father coz he is really a very good person . he also very care of his job ...etc " and then you would mention some adjectives about your father like " he is very original , creative , determined , tolerant , ambitious " and at the end of your speaking you can say " and i want to be like my father for everything"
Answer
My role model is everyone around me who is positive and who I can learn from. I look up to the unkomwn lady jogging every morning, that I see on my way to work (cause God knows I need to being doing that!!!) or the old man in the wheel chair at the mall who is always smiling regardless of what we think of his circumstances. My Father,(may he rest in peace) who always looked at my mother like she was 23 hot and sexy, even when she just looked a "hot mess". You see I don't think just one person can ever offer all the insight and knowledge that I seek. I believe that every person you run into can be a role model, they can show you what to aspire to or who you don't want to become. Like the snobby well-to-do lady who is so self absorbed that she lets the door slam in your face instead of just holding it for 2 secounds for the person right behimd her or that co-worker that you meet walking down the hall that would rather look at the floor, walls, or sky just to advoid saying hello(I mean it takes more energy to avoid a person then it does just to nod or say hello and keep it moving)People think that because you appear on t.v., radio, or the movie screen that you are a role model, and I also believe that those people have hold a lot of power because they reach more peolpe then most of us ever would. But we also have to remember that they are entertainers and the people we see are proberly not the people they are. like I tell my son they are paid to produce a certain image and to look to the people in his every day life for inspiration and encouragement. Like his father who would work all day and half the night but still try to make it to his basketball game, or his grandmother who is his biggest cheerleader in everything that he does. I think we should stop looking to the "BIG NAMES" in our society to be our role models and start looking right out our windows to find people who we want to become and those we don't want to be like.
