A rollover button is a button that when your mouse comes inside the button an action happens. eg;a short film/advert appears or a hyperlink beckoning you too take a look at other web pages.
The primary mouse button would be the left-click.
Without it you wouldn't be able to open/run programs with your mouse. Also people use the left-click more than right.
