At the ages of 1-3 or so mostly what you're doing are activities like reading, singing, doing developmental excercises and the like. Having a routine is key: Morning snack, reading circle, silly dances, lunch, nap time....etc. The beauty of working with children these ages is you can make it up as you go along. Feel out the children, check out their capabilities and go from there. It can be quite fun and rewarding, EXPERIMENT until you've found your regimen.
