Big Bang Cosmology states that our Universe has, over the last 13 billion years or so, been expanding such that the distance between every point in our Universe to every other such point is increasing. There is no center out of which matter came, no explosion, no "bang" -- just an ongoing expansion of distance between all points within our Universe.

This theory has overwhelming evidence to support it, and any competing idea is reduced to stating, "I can't explain why we see what we see -- we just do."

The theory makes no statement whatsoever on how this expansion started, or what happened "before" the start of this expansion.

1. the big bang theory explains the creation of the universe

2. More strictly it concerns the expanding universe. Big Bang name invented by Fred Hoyle.

[It was not big for there was nothing to compare it with. It did not bang, for there was no atmosphere. It was not visible, for it took a long time for atoms to be created, and they are needed for light.]

3. The BB fully explains certain irrefutable facts about our Universe, NONE of which can be explained by competing ideas. Amongst these are:

a) All distant galaxies are red-shifted, and that the degree of red-shift is proportional to the distance to those galaxies.

b) This red shift is equal in all directions, and is due to an expansion of distance over the life of our Universe.

c) Young galaxies exist only at great distances from us.

d) Microwave radiation, with a spectrum of a black body of temperature 2.7 degrees K, is coming towards us with almost perfect isotropy.

e) All parts of our Universe consist of about 75% hydrogen and about 24% helium.

Its not simple, because, when simplified, it defies explanation, but the "simple" explanation is that about 13.7 billion years ago the universe was concentrated in a single point of mass and energy and then it expanded, creating time and space along with it. See what I mean - even saying that makes it complicated.
The Big Bang Theory present the theoretical premise for the causation, termination, and continuation of an evolutionary expansion of the universe. The Big Bang promotes that the universe is Time bound (or has a finite existence), that the universe is expanding (within the dimensional limits of Space and Time), that the universe is evolving a set amount of matter and energy while it is expanding over time, and that the universe is homogeneous and isotropic with respect to Space and Time.

The Big Bang Theory is a theory about the creation of the universe and how it started. It has been said that the universe was once smaller than a particle and that it popped into existence (like sub-atomic particles). Apparently when the universe was created, an explosion occurred creating energy that expanded into space.

The Big Bang Theory contradicts religion and the need for a religious deity or God.

How is the big bang theory is an example od scienctific theory?

Hello i am minakshi answer is that the big bang theory is an example of old scientific theory as big bang theory explains that there was an explosion but the isotropy and the homogenity of the universe is not explained by big bang theory to explain his we connect inflatation theory with big bang theory to explain it so the big bang theory is also an example of old scientific theory.
