Slightly moveable joints, such as those that are in your cranium, the bones that make up your skull, are separated by a thin hyaline cartilage that is about half the thichness of a piece of paper and are called sutures. They are classified as synarthrotic joints.
Slightly movable joints are called amphiarthroses. They come in two types; sympheses e.g. the sternocostal joint and syndesmoses e.g. inferior tibiofibular articulation.
Some examples of a slightly movable joint are the ribs that connect to the sternum, or the back bone or hip bone. A slightly movable joint is called amphiarthrosis.

an example of a slightly moveable joint would be the sternoclavicular joint. This is the joint between your collarbone and your sternum (chest). There is some movement at this joint, which is what allows you to shrug or straighten your shoulders, but not nearly as much as one would find in the elbow or hip joints
Moveable and non-moveable
Your hip.
The opposite of a movable joint would be an immovabl joint, which is a joint that does not move.
