What is a sociopath?In: Mental Health |
- I completely agree with the post above about the media portraying sociopaths as inheritantly evil. I do not have a history of violent acts, but I definantly portray a sociopath by the rest of the definition. Sociopaths are needed for our society. The people who run the media, the military, the gouvernment, there are alot of sociopaths running the place, but they haven't been spotted.
- I believe being a sociopath gives you the ability to pick them out of a croud. Narcissistic traits are common in a sociopath as well, but it's different, because they are alot more capible of keeping cool even if being insulted, especially if they know they can get in trouble for lashing out. I don't know about all sociopaths but I have a great sense of self control, which I don't see the typical narcissist having.
- I too believe that Sociopaths are born leaders, I felt that I was different then other kids when I was younger and I still do today. Normal humans are weak to Sociopaths because we can easily manipulate their behavior without them even recognizing fully what is going on.
- Being a sociopath and taking LSD is interesting, me and another Sociopath become mortal enemys as it seemed. We knew not to hurt each other, but we were the most prominent in the croud and we both openly felt that we should be king, and we knew we were born rivals.
Just my input, I'm a sociopath so I atleast know some of what I'm talking about.
Answer.
I'm sorry I have to disagree with the previous poster, Sociopaths are not born leaders, they are born losers who use people to make themselves feel superior. leaders have their own ego fed by their own accomplishments and encourage others growth and do not need to bully their way to the top unlike sociopaths. And don't forget, Hitler was a sociopath, and he ran and hid and eventually committed suicide when the going got tough while Churchill rallied the troops and stood tall in the face of adveristy and won. That is a true leader. I know because I am one.
