One traditional is the food that's eaten only in Finland, partly cause it looks like poop. Its called mämmi. If you need to know, how the ä is pronounced, its like the combination of a and e, as the English letter for it is the combination of a and e.

I don't know about the meal but at least the traditional dessert is called 'mämmi.' This is a rough, black pudding looking dessert which is sometimes mistaken for chocolate pudding until one tastes it.

...But what it really describes it the best would be that it looks like a black dung.

Salad, ham and casserole are the three (3) types of food that make up the traditional Christmas Eve dinner in Finland.

Specifically, the salad is called "rosolli." It includes beets, herring, onions, and pickles. The ham tends to be around 15-16 pounds. The casserole is actually of three (3) kinds: carrot, potato, and turnip.
