A trembler switch operates by vibrations. Vibrations cause the switch mechanism to complete or interrupt an electrical circuit. It can be used to trigger and alarm, turn on lights or many other devices. A simple trembler uses a metal can (soup can) with a small hole in the top and a weight suspended from a bare wire through the hole with a weight attached to the end of the wire (the hole must be large enough so the wire does not make contact with the can). The other end of the wire is connected to a battery (or other power source). The other pole of the battery is connected to the can. When vibrations cause the weight to move enough to cause the bare wire going through the hole in the top of the can to contact the can the circuit is completed.
A normally closed switch is a switch that is normally closed. When you operate it, it opens.
Push-To-Make switch is a switch in which pressure is applied to the switch for it to let the electricl current flow through.
When the neutral wire goes to the switch
To control a light with a switch, the switch has to be connected in series with the light fixture.
For a switch the reading should be in the zero ohm range. Corrosion or pitted contacts will start to raise the resistance rating on a switch. This size of rating on the switch will start to raise the temperature of the switch because the switch starts to act like a load in the circuit.
because they were a trembler

A trembler bell is a non-polarized bell operated by current that is made intermittent by a contact associated with the bell hammer. It was invented and later patented by J. F. Molaughlin.

The impact could have tripped the fuel pump trembler switch. Where the reset button is, I don't know, but a phonecall to a Volvo technician or a flick through a service manual should guide you.
An earthquake is called an earthquake no matter whether it is small or large. An earth tremor is just a general term used by people to describe a small earthquake.
A switch can be used to switch on and off electricity. Or switch could mean to switch rails on the railway. Or switch could be to change jobs, task, hobbies, and so on.
No a switch just opens and closes a circuit. A switch can be replaced by a dimmer switch. The dimmer switch will fit in the same enclosure that the switch is removed from.
a switch which is given as a optional switch to switch on or off something but doesn't actually work.

switch is frozen from water corrosion.
