What are tiny white spots on lips?

The most common cause of white spots on the upper lip is referred to as "Frodyce's Condition" after the Doctor Who described them. They are sebaceous (oil) glands that actually cover the entire face, but you can't see them against the background of the skin. However, against the pink lips they stand out enough to be seen. They are nothing to worry about BUT it would be wise to see a dermatologist to verify this diagnosis.
