What is aero in Windows 7?

Aero is the smooth design off windows that enables transparency in windows. It also make the close/minimize/maximize buttons slightly bigger and better looking. The only bad thing about Aero is that it requires alot of ram and you should turn it off if you have alot of programs open or when the computer stars to get slow.
