An appetizer is a small first course of an overall meal. Common examples include: shrimp cocktail, calamari, salad, potato skins, mussels, bruschetta or cheese and crackers. An appetizer may also be very elegant in some restaurants.

Appetizers are not just only to have as finger food if chosen wisely, they are appetite enhancer.

The most common appetizers are

Cheese on pineapple- Simply put cheese squares on the top of pineapple slices. Top it with cherry.

Stir fried chili chicken- Saute boneless chicken in chili garlic sauce, season with herbs.

Chili Garlic Potatoes- Small cubes of potato are deep fried, season with red chili flakes and sesame seeds.

Stuffed Mushrooms- Stuffed with crunchy cabbage and bell peppers. Delicious appetizer for the party.
