It is abbreviated ASD
A Chrysler PT Cruiser does not have a reset. The automatic shutdown is a computer controlled relay.
You do not have to reset the asd relay. It is controlled by the engine computer automatically.
It is inside the under hood fuse box.
In PDC, two large relays on the B side, closest to the fender. One is the fan relay, one is the ASD relay. It may be labeled "engine relay"
It shuts down the voltage to the primary coil on the distributor, power to fuel injectors, and fuel pump also.
The fuel pump is controlled via the Automatic Shutdown Relay. This relay is located on the front fender, driver's side, behind the battery. It's the smallest relay in the group. hope this helps!

in my 2001 4L jeep grand Cherokee the automatic shut down relay is located in the power distribution panel that is mounted between the fender and the battery. if it is labeled like mine it should be number 38 marked asd.
