OOOOOOOOkay, this is a multifaceted answer and I hope I don't run on too long.....

First lets consider the Euro dragon also known as the gothic dragons...These were the dragons of northern Europe and areas thereabout. Usually they have two classes Wyvern and Dragon....Wyverns were two legged and considered of very limited intelligence and very nasty in temperament.....While four legged dragons were considered intelligent on a par with humans [maybe above} and while slow to anger could be very nasty...

Oriental dragons were considered signs of great luck and tenacity..And there are many classes of them far too numerous to go into here.....Hope this opens the tip of the iceberg for you cause you can spend many hours researching them.....Enjoy.....TatuBaron
