The emergent problem in engineering normally refers to deciding what has been changed or altered to cause other factors or problems.
E.g. My fan doesn't spin.
Why not?
What has changed?
The casing is bent and stopping the blades from turning.

the fault in electrical transmission line which give rise to symmetrical fault current is called symmetric fault. e.g; L-L-L-G fault. the fault in transmission line which give rise to unsymmetrical fault current is called unsymmetrical fault.e.g; L-L , L-L-G , L-G fault to solve the unsymmetrical fault, the fault current can be represented by sum of the sequences--zero phase sequence , +ve phase sequence , -ve phase sequence. where L:line G:ground
Directionalized relays are relays that use a polarizing circuit to determine which "direction" (in the zone of protection, or out of the zone protection) a fault is. There are many different types and different polarizing methods - ground polarizing, voltage polarizing, zero sequence voltage polarizing, negative sequence polarizing, etc. The basic operation of this relay is just like any nondirectional relay, but with an added torque control - the directionalizing element. This element allows the relay to operate when it is satisfied that the fault is within the zone of protection (ie not behind where the relay is looking).
A fault is a flaw or a disadvantage. An antonym for fault would be virtue, advantage, asset, merit, or strength.
A symmetrical fault is a fault where all three phases are experiencing the same thing. This is also called a three phase fault, since all three phases are involved.

carrying out fault diagnosis on engineered systems- describe the basic principles of how the system functions, and the working purpose of variouis integrated systems
A diagnosis is for an illness or a fault. It is not a component of a driving exam.
chicken dippers!

I have exactly the same problem. been to the garage today and been told to use the re- programming sequence on your key. just cant find the sequence now! ha.
Knowing what the problem is and rectifying it are two different things. You need to speak to a mechanic or a dealership to determine your best course of action.
little advantage
The Check Engine light is on because there is a fault code that has been set by the ECU. There is a problem with the emissions system. Seek professional help if you are not familiar with diagnosis of these codes.
A fault log is used to record all details of a problem as well as the client details and the resolution to the fault/problem.
Figure out the cause of the fault, first. It could be physical, or it could be a matter of programming. These things require diagnosis to identify and isolate the exact problem in order to fix them. From my experience with Volvo trucks, they can be an electrical nightmare, and your problem is probably a short in the wiring somewhere.
