An example of mutualism in the tundra is when the caribou eats shurbs and they spread it around through feces

Answer: Lichen (any plant consisting of fungus) exist in cohabitation with blue/green Algae, both benefit from one another, this is called "Mutualism", the algae provides organic nutrients and the fungus provides minerals for the growth, from this union they become beneficial to all other organisms and growth appears.

One example of a symbiotic relationship in taiga involves a lichen and a black spruce tree. The lichen needs food and the tree produces dead matter. The dead matter is consumed by the lichen, which in turn provides nutrients for the spruce. This is an example of mutualism(+ +).

mutualism is a type of symbiotic relationship in which both organisms benefit in the relationship!

An example of a mutual symbiotic relationship is moss on a tree. An example of a parasitic symbiotic relationship is insects invading a plant, causing it harm or death. An example of a commensal symbiotic relationship is the fungus which eats dead plant tissue.

Copepods find an Antarctic Cod host, attach, and are stationary for life, diverting their energy to reproduction; males move or swim around to find females to reproduce. Female Copepods will burrow in to the skin of the Antarctic Cod, suck blood and fluids, or grind away at the flesh. The female stores the male's sperm and fertilizes its eggs as it expels them into chitinous sausage-like ovisacs. The ovisacs gradually lengthen as eggs are expelled. --- This is an example of parasitism, as the Copepod benefits and the Antarctic Cod is harmed.

The bush sponge will lay on top of the Free-swimming antarctic scallop near the shell's peripheral margin, and will seek water flow over the scallop shell in order to facilitate its own filter feeding. --- This is an example of commensalism, as the bush sponge benefits, and the Free-swimming antarctic scallop is unharmed.

Antarctica is to cold to support animal life.

In the waters around Antarctica, there is no mutualism, there is only a food chain. It is short and is based on phytoplankton and krill.
