The occupational psychologist could analyze how a person's personality will affect the quality or quantity of his work in a certain job. Or, the occupational psychologist could analyze the psychological effects of a particular job or a field of work on the person or people who do that work. For example, studying the effects of shiftwork on an individual's mental health could fall into the realm of an occupational psycholgist's work.
