Look for an interesting plaque by the radio room that refers to the great inventor Thomas Edison as a "physician". Whoever translated the French word "physicien" (roughly, engineer/physicist) didn't get things quite right!!

There are both radio and television antennas at the top of the tower. There is a rotating light to help with its visibility to air traffic. There is also an observation deck, though that is not at the very top.
