What is atrial fibrillation? |
[Edit] |
[Edit]
Atril fibrillation is when the atrial chambers of the heart going into fibrillation, meaning that it sort of "flutters" but does not completely contract (atrial kick) sending blood down into the ventricles to be pumped to throughout the body.
This can be potentially serious because if the blood is not sent into the ventricles, the body's tissues will be deprived of oxygen and die.
