∙ 13y agoThe garbage pollutes the earth and leaves chemicals. The chemicals can spread to trees and plants and could infect them and kill them or poison them. Since most of our food comes from plants it also affects us too

∙ 10y agoI goes into the seas and rivers,and the water wont be clean.So we can not drink it and the fishes,sharks etc will die and we can not eat them if we do we will die to .So I advice you to keep the water clean

They are open areas with a broad range of waste from inert fill to toxic industrial waste. They have no containment for water pollutants or protection for groundwater. They have no controls on blowing material, odors, open fires, vermin, illicit use, safety, security, or illegal salvaging. Because they are full of organic material, kitchen wastes, vegetation etc, and are constantly being covered over, this organic waste decomposes anaerobically (that is, without air) to produce methane, which is a greenhouse gas 20 times more dangerous than carbon dioxide.
