You have to remove the bezel,there are 3 retaining screws,1screw in the center below the 2 moveable a/c vents & 2 screws below the bar under the slideing levers. the bottom of bezel will release, But the top of bezel has two metal retaining clips right above the moveable vents that you have to be very careful when removeing. The bulb mounting base just twists out there is a plastic retainer for the wires. When replaceing bezel put the top of bezel around vents & make sure you can move them.dont push in the bezel yet. Put the slideing levers in the center position make sure they are exposed & moveable then push the top of the bezel in the clips & secure with the screws. This black BEZEL is easy to break & you would have to hunt for one in the salvage yards to replace it so be careful.
