Nothing at first.
When stomach settles, start very lightly with simple carbs: crackers, small amounts off bread...things that will sit awhile and absorb any remaining acids. And of course, avoid anything acidic like Orange Juice. Mint is a natural agent that settles the stomach, and it really works well. Try drinking some caffeine free mint tea. Honey is fine, avoid the lemon naturally. Raspberry leaf tea also works wonders on issues concerning the stomach. Feel better! I eat toast usually or I drink Soda.
It might help make you comfortable to sip cool water. Also, if you vomit again, there will be something in your stomach...dry heaving never helped anyone.
You want to eat foods that are high in starches or sugars and low in fats and oils. So, cereals, rice, potatoes (well cooked,) toast, fruit, etc. The diet for sick people is sometimes called the BRAT diet. It stands for Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast/Tea. It is important to get plenty of water if you are vomiting also, but avoid juices that are high in acid, those could make the situation worse. Dairy foods like yogurt are hard for some people to digest but for others they can help control stomach acid. You may want to try ice cream or yogurt with your other tasty blandish foods.
If you throw up, avoid eating fatty and creamy foods as it worsens vomiting. Eat crackers, and fruits especially those that are sour depending on your taste..
Drink clear liquids such as water and eat bland foods. Food such as chicken soup and saltine crackers are good to eat after vomiting.
Weetabix.
Soup and drink plenty of liquids
it depends on the drink
Dehydration results from the large fluid losses due to diarrhea, vomiting, and fever. Inability to eat or drink worsens the situation.
the banana and sprite challenge is where a person has to eat 2 bananas and drink 2 cans of sprite without vomiting or burping.

While vomiting it might be helpful to drink a glass of water but I think is better not to drink water because it may cause you to make you vomit even worse so It would be better not to drink water
if you eat a tiny bit your ok but if you eat a handful you might throw up but its nothing bad its just that the soap will make your stomach bigger if you eat food or drink stuff after it then you'll end up vomiting it all out
uh anytime you want. when you vomit, unless you drink salt water before, you lose all of your water. you can drink it anytime after vomiting, why couldn't you? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actually, if you vomit, you SHOULD drink water, and a good bit of it. Obviously don't drink so much that you end up vomiting again, but diarrhea and vomiting are the 2 situations where dehydration becomes lethal. I'd suggest to keep sipping water (no big gulps, it'll upset both your esophagus and stomach) until you feel comfortable in your stomach region. Any chronic vomiting or uncontrollable/constant vomiting should be analyzed by a doctor, and not searched on the internet. >_<
Dairy is very difficult to digest. Also if you are vomiting milk is probably the last thing you feel like drinking as it is heavy on the stomach. Clear liquids are the best bet if you can keep them down.
FOOD
Yes it is perfectly fine to drink milk after eating fish. The two foods do not have harmful interactions.
