1080p 240hz is the better choice, the numbers 120hz and 240hz are the speeds in which the picture refreshs itself. Which means 240hz is going refresh 240 times per second which is twice as fast as the 120hz models.
probably not.
ye3s if you compare it to cod5 then you can see a large difference
The Samsung is better.
Harmonics are a multiple of the fundamental frequency. If the power frequency is 60Hz, harmonics occur at 120Hz, 180Hz, 240Hz, etc.
LCD: (Liquid Crystal Display) image sharpeness is dependent upon: 1. Resolution capability of the screen 720p, 1080p, etc. 2. Refresh rate of screen- 60Hz, 120Hz, 240Hz 3. Contrast ratio, between "black & white"
1080p is best for large tv's and 720p is acceptable for tv's smaller than 36". Hz refers to the tv's refresh rate ( if you like to watch sports or play video games you want this number to be high), 60Hz is standard but 120Hz or 240Hz is best.

The price for the sony bravia 40'' 1080p 240hz lcd hdtv will be lowered to about $1,000.00 dollars by february 2010, because by then, stores like bestbuy, and sears and costco, and etc- will all be by then displaying hdtvs have will have 1080p with 480hz and hdtvs that will have 1440p with 480hz!, so in other words, i would say that from my experienced mind, that by the middle of february 2010 "namely february 15th, 2010 monday and during that same week that, that same day is in will be the best time to go to a store such as bestbuy or the other store i mentioned above and buy the sony bravia 40'' inch 1080p 240hz lcd hdtv, with a wonderful $1,000.00 dollar deal !!!. Also, for some hopfully helpful advice to everyone, "DO NOT!" get a sony bravia hdtv that only has 60hz, or you will be completely dipleased with what you will end up with, and if that happens, i would advise you to return it and ask for your money back and then wait until the sony bravia 40 inch 1080p 240hz lcd hdtv comes out, and get that one insted!. With 240hz, you will be satified to the fullest extend!. By february 2010, 240hz will have already been officially released in stores that sell sony bravia hdtvs, and also the stores mentioned above!.
during the summer blowout sale in mid June
Actually plasma screens are in total 600hz but they are divided in 10 subfields, each of which run at 60hz. But in conclusion, 10 subfields of 60hz reduce motion blur almost to zero and look alot cleaner than 1 subfield of 120hz, 240hz, etc.
1080p
I think that the best deal you can get on a 3D LED TV would be at Amazon.com. You can get a Samsung UN46d7000 46inch 1080p 240hz 3D LED HDTV for just $950.00 that is a real bargain compared to a lot of places.
