Hello,

2GB is 2 "gigabytes". 256MB is 256 "megabytes".

1 "gigabyte" is another way to refer to 1000 "megabytes".

So, 2GB is much more than 256MB!

Hope that helps you out!

2 GB (Gigabytes) is bigger than 200 MB (Megabytes).

In this scenario, the 2 GB is 1,800 MB larger.

A Kilobyte is 1,024 bytes (2^10).

A Megabyte is 1,048,576 bytes (2^20).

A Gigabyte is 1,073,741,824 bytes (2^30).

A Terabyte is 1,099,511,627,776 bytes (2^40).

2 GB, 1,000 MB is equal to one GB, so basically you would be only getting 0.256 of a GB if you chose 256 mb.
